Description
Stunning dwarf tree growing as a pillar shape. Leave emerge as a shiny dark burgundy to black in the spring and tuen slightly green with age. Bright pink/purple flowers adorn the tree in spring and dark red/maroon crab apples decorate the tree in autumn. The crab apples persist well on the tree into winter and act as a natural bird feeder in the autumn. Ideal for patio growing, where space is limited.
Suitable for a wide range of soil types except waterlogged sites, although they are tolerant of shade they do prefer full sun. Requires no pruning.
