Description
Ohio Buckeye (Aesculus glabra) is a medium sized tree native to the United States. Its palmate leaves radiate from a central point, and its large nuts develop inside yellow, spiny husks. The nuts are about 3/4 to 1 inch across and are an important food for wildlife.
This seed was collected from mature, cold hardy trees growing in Manitoba.
