A native of Brazil, This variety was introduced into English gardens in 1829 and American gardens in 1889. Jasmine Tobacco was a favorite of Victorian gardeners for its fragrance. The white flowers have a beautiful scent and open during the evening. They are a favorite of Sphinx moths. Sun to part shade, Ht: 3-4’. Annual.
